About Me.

My name is Kira Lazickas. I am a UX designer based in the mile high city Denver, Colorado. My creative journey started 10 years ago as a photographer. My degree in Visual Communications with an emphasis in Commercial Photography gave me the skills and abilities to collaborate with others, manage creative teams and to remain vigilant for proactive redirection. 

I have always enjoyed working with others and meeting new people. My time as a creative coincided with client-interfacing positions which gave me the opportunity to meet people from all over the world. Helping others with their journey to find what they need has given me the ability to discover user-centric problems and to create innovative solutions. 

Effective design has always been a priority for me from the start of my creative journey. Applying my abilities to help others while connecting my creative eye has given me the opportunity to visually build stories within my designs. While UI is my strong suit, translating accurate data and metrics is the key to open user based solutions in my work.

When I am away from my laptop, I’m either in the mountains getting lost or finding a new spot around Denver to eat yummy snacks. The Rocky Mountains are my playground. My passions continue with climbing, hiking, running, and gravel biking. Movement is my medicine. I am always pushing forward and embracing the journey.
